….let me admit I wasn’t keen on the transfer but for me he’s easily our signing of the season.
Moyes said he wanted greater quality, little doubt replacing Doucoure with KDH would deliver that but I never thought he’d be able to replicate Doucoure’s industry. His application and attitude has surprised me, I feared he’d got his big money move to Chelsea and the hunger would be gone but he’s a model pro.
As I often comment, ‘he plays football like it matters’. Delighted to have got him wrong, terrific business. For those that advocate others for no10, understand why Doucoure was selected so often and recognise what a difference a player with the same application but much greater quality makes.

Obviously you would prefer to have Hendo in the team though. At least that is what I have been led to believe.
