I would argue we got the Thelwell appointment spot on, regardless of whether he should or shouldn’t stay he was the right guy for the circumstances we were in.

His remit was to keep us a premier league club under dire financial circumstances and he has done that.

….i’m not but the reality is we’re in a position where we can’t buy new players to cover for all the loanees and those who are out of contract. A total lack of continuity planning, fortunately we now have owners and a budget but we’ll need numbers, especially with no obvious youngsters coming through.

I'd honestly rather play a youngster than Keane, he's so bad. Many will argue that we have no youngsters ready, and that may be true, but Keane has proven over and over again that he will never be ready. He plays and we concede, that's proven. And for £80k a week? No, he can jog on.

Thinking having a RS in a crucial roles or in any activity and believing they will do their best for Everton is naive.
Unconscious bias will always prevail.

Moyes usually has an eye for a very good defender - which make me think there was a big DOF influence there.

Moyes only lost control of West Ham’s transfers when the German fella turned up. Before that it was him and Rob Newman I thibk
