So somebody - hopefully Lampard - is setting a direction that they want the first team to play. For us to be successful and have a ‘footballing identity’ or whatever is the hip term now, we need our entire set up all the way down to the kids to play the same way so they’re ready to slot in when called upon.

It’ll be this guys job to ensure that all the various coaches across our levels are doing that and hold them accountable for their varying successes at doing so.

Sounds like a good idea to me.
