Ok he’s a massive bell, but he’s also scored a fair share of fantastic goals with us as well. It’s fine not to like him, I don’t either, but choosing to forget the fact that he had been good in spurts is choosing to be ignorant.

That said, sell.

He's been good only when it suits him, he's never been a team player, he had talent and he's just wasted it IMO, I was a fan when he first came here but the memory he is leaving me with is a petulant child whose been found out here and also Greece where he was given such a fantastic welcome a short time ago.

If you're happy to call it ignorance then so be it I personally don't GAF but if it makes you feel better fill your boots.

Think he could've been utilised better, perhaps in a two with Lukaku at one point - the reason being that he's a forward rather than a wide man, but with not quite enough about him to lead the line alone; yet his runs in behind and one-on-one finishing was always pretty good.
Since that injury in the derby a couple of years back he lost several yards of pace and hasn't been the same.
Furthermore, his attitude's been called into question on numerous occasions, and I personally haven't been pleased to see his name on the team sheet since the penalty incident which probably was a contributing factor in triggering Martinez's demise.

When he joined he was better than any offensive player we have in the team currently. Maybe Walcott is that level as well but you don’t see him bending free kicks in or running the length of the pitch to score for us. He’s not been consistent and has attitude and fitness problems but denying he had quality when he was on it is just bizarre.

Think he signed back on until the end of the 2019/20 season in Roberto's last year, so he's still under contract with us for two more seasons. If we sell him this summer, I could see us still getting reasonable money for him, perhaps 8 or 9 million in the current market. He'd do a job for a Brighton/Cardiff sort of club, provided he behaves himself.

Why they would sign up players before Brand and a new manager comes in is wierd. Remember the Darron Gibson contract too? Pennington doesnt make sense, unless they signed him up to the 'Kenwright budget' for players, where he just signs up people on a whim ?
