Not really mate.

Just indicative that despite apparent progress we are still amatuerish in having a fool in a key position in the club's management and that does not bode well for a summer of transfer activity.

Tad over dramatic, none of us know at this moment who will be in charge of transfer negotiations this summer.

By fool do mean a man who has become a millionaire several times over...and you sit on a keyboard somewhere without any knowledge of what is involved in transfer negotiations and judge him.

Obviously, if you are Bill Gates, Moshiri or Usmanov disregard the previous remark.

need a squad we are so thin with everyone leaving most teams would have him at least on the bench and if hes the worst on the bench i'm happy with that bench

Kone, Lennon, Bolasie, Cleverley, DCL, Lookman, McGeady. Players who are currently on books with Everton who complete with Mirallas for a first team place.

I am glad if Kev signs a new deal because it means players like Kone, Cleverley and McGeady etc will be gone soon.

Cleverly and McGeady have already agreed to go I think, and Koeman has confirmed Kone will leave in a few weeks.

Yup. I mean we now can assume the club will sign players who will get Everton to the next level while we can have Kev as squad players at the sametime.

Koeman is getting rid of these deadwoods while our better players are kept as squad players.

There is at least 80 m worth of deadwood that needs to be got rid of
It's just a pity it all can't be done in one window and the money re invested
McCarthy. 20 m (Newcastle bid )
Funes Mori 20 m
Cleverly 8 m
Naisse 10m
Geri 12m
Robles 10m
MCGeady 2.5 m
Plus a couple of the youth players who sadly won't make the grade
That would get you 3/4 players who are actively fighting for the first 11
If ROSS does sadly go that's another 30/40 m ( depending on how many clubs are in for him ) to spend without the budget for this year (hopefully 80/100 m)
That's why I think Koeman wants an answer from ROSS
He wants to know who he needs and how much he has to spend.
If he had his way all of the above would be sold very early

And Gibson and Oviedo £7.5m. Probably keep Funes Mori as 4th choice CB and let Jags leaves.
