Kevin Mirallas

Got my concerns over Kev, not on his quality but on his place in this side. I think he's got lots and lots of ability by the way and I genuinely would love to see it all click into place. I think it was Spurs away last season when he turned there defender inside out and slotted that made me think 'this lad could be brilliant', but for whatever reason he just hasn't kicked on and what we've seen is just in flashes of brilliance.
Next season could be crucial to his career with us, I personally think he's a second striker and should be allowed to roam in and around a front man as oppose to the wing were he just drifts out of games, especially away from home.
I don't think I've put my point accross very well but that sort of sums up my opinion of him. He frustrates the hell out of me because I think he's capable of so much more

yeah, if we sold him we'd regret it because he has that touch of class to win a game from nothing. people have paid a lot lot more for a lot lot worse, i.e. downing.

basically, the ones who can do what he does and do it consistantly are people like hazard who cost £32m

I coulldnt name too many to be honest but Im pretty sure we can improve on Kev and Pienaar and get.more consistent performances without needing to buy from the top shelf.

Id be willing to lose Kevs goal tally from our squad just to get a player who just generally plays better every game and passes it when he should pass and shoot when he should shoot. Oh and better control please and less lazy too.

did you see Mirallas today? I'm a staunch supporter of Super Kev but he was poor today and was rightly subbed. McGeady offered much more when he came on.
yes i was at the game,he wasnt the best, but id rather him stayed on than lukaku...and i hope mcgeady takes pienaars place

He's absolute balls when he's allowed to drift around and do what he wants. Needs a clearly defined role and job to do, which he had when it was always him and Coleman on the right. They had a nice little partnership for a while when Seamus was destroying everyone, Mirallas is really good at drawing players and he will actually pass to Ireland. It's all on Barks really tho, a good Barks makes a good Everton.

I know you are exagerrating but I dont think theres much between them at all and right now Id definitely start.McGeady ahead of him assuming Pienaar is fit for the Swansea game.

I think McGeady has been rubbish so far, our 2 defenders have been better wingers than him since he arrived, so no I'm not exaggerating at all cos I fail to see what the fuss is about regarding him.

Theres no fuss, he has a reputation as being flashy with no end product, so theres no fuss.

He has barely played and when on the field it was in moments where we werent on the ball as much. He's barely had enough touches to be judged properly.

But that doesn't change the fact he came on today and did more than Mirallas has done in a while and he also looked less inconsistent and flimsy than people expected. He showed he could link play and spread it around when coming deep to take the ball which is something Kev doesn't have, whilst also looking lively around the box. He then was actually able to get wide to cause damage near the end which eventually led to the goal.

McGeady in, Kev out for me....and if Kev doesn't improve his consistency sell him and replace him with a better first team player and have McGeady as back up. His value seems like it is inflated.

It's funny how some turn on players so fast on here. Same happens with all our good players when they hit some bad form.

Think you've got to remember we payed 6M for kev. If he was consistantly boss he'd be playing for Real Madrid etc and worth 20 odd million plus.

Squad options is the key for me, someone ready to replace a player who's not on form or having a inafective game.

Certainly wouldn't want to be selling him due to being inconsistent. You will NOT find a player who can play at kev's on form standard consistantly in our price range!
