We all became aware of this possible transfer far earlier than we normally would because of the post from DAVIDMOYES.Because he said it was a done deal rather than a deal in negotiation.
He may well be right ,we do not know what has been agreed,he may be gone back to Greece to get his affairs in order before he returns to England for his medical.A day or two either way isn't that important and it may be that he could be presented at the UTD game but not eligible to play.
Or he could be gone to Arsenal, some other club or just stay where he is.

However, since David Moyes first broke the story,we have seen an interview with Mirallas where he indicated that his preferred destination was Everton over Arsenal and confirmation from DAVIDMOYES(who was certainly right about our interest in the player) that the deal is still in place.Apart from that there has been a constant stream of hot air both negative and positive saying the deal will be completed or has fallen through.

Apart from the interview by Mirallas or the post by DAVID MOYES,there is absolutely nothing else to give us any more information that we can trust.

Evening gentlemen, roger here again,

I've heard that this character may indeed end up elsewhere with his fellow countryman mr fellaini leaving towards the end of the window.

Cue, our charasmatic leader proclaiming "we were minutes away from signing <insert good players name>" closely followed by "maroune <jack> was in tears in my office, I begged him to stay, it broke my heart blah blah blah"

Once again, under his stewardship we have a significantly weaker squad than 6 months ago.

That's just it, there's a difference between speculating and knowing. The best ITKs know how to manage the info and the expectations that go with it.

I realy hope I'm wrong and that the OP is all over this thread screaming 'in your face' at all doubters and detractors - me included.

Never agreed with you more, davek.

WHAT!?

Haha.... Not that I believe u have any reliable source to know this to be true but....

How everton would it be to trying to buy a player and loose out to another team who then also takes his pal and our best player with him! Haha I can see the fume already!

As it happens I don't think this will happen and mirallas will be ours by Monday 8:00.
