Pretty sure he's generated all that money by selling other strikers.

Though yeah he's not had a great deal of luck in that position prior to jelavic. He has a much better eye for a defender.

True, although his best midfielders (Cahill, Arteta, Pienaar, Fellaini) are at least equal to his best defensive buys (Jags, Baines, Lescott), with the odd flop in each case (Bily, Koldrup).

On topic, most Wolves fans seem to despair of Doyle these days.

really? none have really been gash. i mean spencer wasn't great but he didn't cost much. yak had a great season then had a bag injury, johnson did well for us then we made a profit. players like saha, bent and beckford were good considering their fee. beattie is the only one who worked out badly

yak was good for at least as long as jelavic has been good so far

How about we sell all of our players over 25 and buy a team of teenagers? Would that make you happy? We'd be relegated, but they'd have resale value which is all you seem to care about.
