Phwoarrrrr eh.

When will people learn to take what bill says with a massive mound full of salt.

Does no one remember ‘watch this space’
Its' funny, one minute it's don't believe anything he says, then it's a fume because something he said is going to happen they don't agree on, chances are this summer won't be anything like he said last night anyway
Bet any money he said to Sam last night "Its my turn to popcorn the fan base, leave to me I've got a good one"

Kenwright is right about this..... They may be loaned out, but Sandro and Klaasen will be on our books for the next 4 years... Nobody else will match their wages so we're stuck with them...

A lots been made of Rooney having to take a pay cut of 50% in order to play for Everton, my heart bleeds for him having to manage on 150,000 a week.

Sandro's gone public about wanting to leave Everton. And it would be a surprise if Klaassen and possibly Vlasic weren't also making noises behind the scenes. So it's hard to make sense of this, except as a negotiating ploy.

They can all leave Day 1 of the summer window, if they're willing to take a pay cut.... and forgo their loyalty bonuses.... Lets see how noisy they are...

Was Allardyce even there last night. I don't think I saw one post in the Dixies thread slagging him off. Which is unreal given virtually every post slagged off something.

Don`t forget :

"Wayne Rooney is not for sale at any price ".

A week later, he`s holding up a Man U shirt lol

The man is a plant pot.

To be fair, that was just good negotiating... Had he said Rooney was for sale we'd have got less than we did, and everyone would have been slaughtering him for it...

..it’s a bizarre statement to make. If I heard it right, he’s saying Sandro will stay even if we get a bid of £20m, Keane will stay even if we get a bid of £30m and Klaassen will stay even if somebody bids £25m.

I thought the DoF and Manager facilitate transfers.
He could hardly say they were useless, costing a fortune and had no future at the club.
It's bad enough having the fans saying it.
There is no doubt a half decent offer will sell Sandro and Klaasen leave. I think the improved form from Schneiderlin is also for the benefit of suitors, I can't see much demand for Martina .
I think Williams will go and Funes Mori as well.
I think the right offer could see Niasse sold.
Stekelenburg,Robles will be leaving anyway.
I think Rooney, Jagielka and Baines will all see out their contracts .

Rooney didn’t take a pay cut.
He had 2 years left on a 300k a week pay deal.
We got him for free
United paid up 50 % of his remaining contract ( 15 m ) and we are paying the rest.
Hence the fancy new house.
United wanted his wages off the books

Does anybody remember the tearful goodbye in the programme
The man has no morals and no scruples.
He sold Ferguson without having the decency to tell him
I could go on and on , the man is a parasite

Tough at the top eh ?

I`d heard from people who know his family, that the deal had been done months before the negotiations had been officially announced.

Bill just loves the theatre of it all and most of all, it lets him sit at the top table with the big boys.

He`s a relic and it really is time or him to go.

Of course if a new DoF and Manager are incoming it would make sense that they would want to assess all the recently purchased and under contract players for themselves. No point in needlessly discarding players a new manager may find useful.
(I've got the day off tomorrow and I'm consequently in a good mood hence my undoubtedly misplaced optimism. Sorry.)
