It's mental to think Utd would sell him to a top four rival, out of the two though, Arsenal would be the team. I think a team outside the top four would have a better chance, now I wonder....
Rooney is an ambitious player, why would he go to a club who have struggled to win anything in the last 9 years, no chance. Rooney is in control, not Man u.

Would of thought Rooney would be a good fit for a German team maybe bayern or Dortmund . The only thing I could see why he wouldn't go is because of living Arangments

For teams in England, who needs a player in his mould?

United - No, they have Kagawa and Rooney (He's still there despite the rumours).
City - Isco possibly/Aguero/Tevez/Silva/Fernandinho/Toure. CM/AM packed.
Chelsea - Mata/Schurlle/Hazard/Oscar...doubt it. CM/AM packed.
Spurs - Paulinho possibly/Dembele/Gylfi/Holtby/Bale...doubt it. CM/AM packed.
Arsenal - Jovetic possibly/Arteta/Wilshere/Ramsey. This is the most plausible club.

I know most of the players i've listed aren't actually AM, but they have played there or played in a different system that doesn't require one. Arsenal would be the most realistic club and Japan play some cracking footall at times with Kagawa/Endo/Honda being central to it. He'd definitely fit in there, but he'd also fit in here with some of the stuff we played last season, and with a manager like Martinez who likes to play that way.
