I would agree with you mate. Im saying oh bollocks because i quite like him and would see his signing as one of ambition and real improvement. Him dismissing Lazio and Psg tends to suggest he sees no reason too move and we would struggle with his wages.

The Lazio move was last January. They offered something like £6m plus a player but it didn't meet CSKA's valuation. The player himself can't get away quickly enough. UEFA rank Lazio as the 67th best team in Europe and we're the 51st, if that means anything. If Spurs are serious about Sneijder then we should be doing all we can to land someone like Honda.

Because of how the Russian season works he's contracted until 31st Dec 2013. Last January CSKA wanted £12.3m but Lazio would only offer £4.9m plus a player in exchange. It's difficult to judge but he can't be worth more than about £6m in January. However, if everyone is waiting for him to become available on a bosman the Russia's may decide to take any offer rather than risk losing him for nothing.
