KEIOC Meeting

I’m just sitting here watching the wheels go round and round
I really love to watch them roll
No longer riding on the merry-go-round
I just had to let it go

I just had tooooooo, let it gooooooooo

Firstly, KEIOC posted plans at the time of the vote and weren't allowed to enter them in the ballot Literature that was full of misleading propaganda that has all long since been discredited, this also monopolised the local media...... where was your cry of "fascist" then, and which do you think represents the suppression of opposition most? I'm sure Dave Kelly with his strong Union/socialist credentials would like that one.

Unfortunately, I think your view of them is already cemented, only you cannot explain why, with quite frankly a very skewed perception of reality that's underpinned by a stance even the club no longer supports...... By the way, we all end up paying for whatever the club decides. We could've paid very dearly for Kirkby!

Meanwhile...... As you infer, KEIOC presented an impressive set of ideas that should prompt more ideas and possibilities!!

Exhibit A and B as mentioned earlier. I am not a club clone and if the club is having a love in with keioc doesn't mean I have to.

I don't follow a party line,

I just believe that they need to exercise the perception of many people that unless you agree with them, you're somehow wrong headed, misloyal, someone who sucks up to the board.

I just hope that if I disagree with keioc on their plan you won't keep coming back and drowning me in a welter of facts about why its the best thing since brown bread.

I agree with the broad approach. Not really convinced that a museum and a hotel will cut it in terms of assisting us with the stadium. But I'll try (very hard:dodgy::dodgy:) to debate the plan on its own merit and just forget that keioc are behind it.

I wouldn't expect him to be back.
Is it really a wonder? He got red carded and ridiculed for what? Not agreeing with the majority's view on this forum?

I wouldn't also be surprised he might be a tad tired of explaining the same things over and over again for two years for another **** to make the same [Poor language removed] "arguments" and to have to start all over again.

Like the ******* video which was dealt with at the time. Yet someone still brings it back as proof that KEIOC is evil. And the same person doesn't even want to read what that was all about, but comes back to the same [Poor language removed] again and again.

No he didn't. You have been though for the language.

----------

The facts are, KEIOC are proposing a stadium which will cost £700m+, more than the Emirates.

Unfortunately, things have to be paid for. That’s just the way it works. KEIOC have typically shrugged their shoulders and claimed "It’s not about affordability. If we build what is affordable, we don’t build anything"... and then question why Everton don't take them seriously?

Everton Chief Executive Elstone (4th Feb 2010): "We hope, between us, we can create a scheme which, in the first instances, passes our basic test of 'affordability' and, ultimately, becomes a reality.

KEIOC just a couple of weeks later: "It’s not about affordability. If we build what is affordable, we don’t build anything"

Brilliant. So can someone just say, seriously now, why should the club open dialogue with KEIOC when they are saying affordability isn't an issue?, when quite clearly, it is as things need to be paid for.

You've hounded Tom off here. Congratulations.

By debate? Thats what forums are for.

Anyway, this thread doesn't seem to want to stay on topic, that being the most recent KEIOC meeting. Rather, it's being used to deflect and bring up anything and everything. Locked.
