"He's better than Babel cos he scores more at scrabble Jutkiewicz is the one to follow."

Motherwell striker Lukas Jutkiewicz is unsure of his future at parent club Everton.

Jutkiewicz has impressed during his time at Fir Park. A big, powerful striker he certainly looks to have a future at a high level.

Davie Moyes might take him back to Everton next season but the youngster is waiting for clarification.

He told the Daily Record: "Those discussions will be for a later date. I have another year on my contract at Goodison so as far as I'm aware I will go back for pre-season at Everton. But it can all change at any point.

"I've said from the word go I'm happy at Motherwell. And if there was an agreement between the two clubs that would allow me to stay then that would be great.

"I feel I've improved here. Just playing games will improve you naturally.

"I feel a lot more confident and game-ready."

Seems he's been getting a lot of gametime, maybe he could head back and fill the vaughan/vic gap if either of those vacate ?

10 goals in 28 games for Motherwell this season. Not a bad return although the quality of the league up there is worth considering. It would be great to have another kid come through the system though.

Both he and James Vaughan are 21 now so you'd think its make or break time for them both.

If Jutkiewicz does come back, we're in danger of having more strikers than City!! Saha, Yakubu, Anichebe, Vaughan, Beckford, Joao, Jutkiwecz, Agard...

Didnt we pay about million for this Kid, i would be surprised if there wasnt a few lower league clubs looking at him - at least give us a chance to recoup some wonga - which we wont get of Motherwell.

I wouldnt mind Ruddy coming back at least to run the ule over his performences have been getting good reviews up there.

My cousin is a season ticket holder there, and he says hes not very good. He reckons there is no way he would ever make the grade here. He does rate Ruddy very highly though, says he's possibly one of the best keepers playing in Scotland. He's had quite a few motm displays in his time there.

Saha will be in his final year, Vaughan may be transferred also possibly Anichebe so the numbrrs can soon come down.

hmmm.....he went to Oz with the first team squad and got a bit of a run out from the bench. Might have expected that because we were a few short from WC duty etc this made sense, after all we needed enough players to make the training sessions meaningful. However, he has not been named in the reserves squad to go to Scotland.

I wonder if Moyes is toying with adding him to the first team squad, or just checking him out to ensure he is right in thinking he won't make it !

The lad seemed to do well (excuse the pun) north of the border and Motherwell were keen to have him back.

....wonder what happens next ?
