Pictures of academy teams = Johnson DEFO signing for Everton.

Firstly mate you may well be posting stuff in good faith and probably are so this isn't a criticism but the issue isn't whether somebody you know plays for an academy side but why the manger of an interested club would hot foot his way to the selling clubs ground to 'secure' the deal, that's what puzzles and confuses me. Also to be fair I'm not certain that teenage academy players are always the best surce of info on deals, like any workplace gossip though I'm sure abounds. I think it's worth saying the thing is with transfers is often there are literally dozens of enquiries in one day or different players and at various stages a number of clubs and players think 'a deal is in motion'.

Are some of you guys suggesting that Moyes went to a manager's meeting alone with no other premier league managers, makes sense.

Moyes: Have we got the money for Johnson off man city Bill?

Bill: The kid with the bad kness who hasn't played for five years?....Hmm yeah go for it champ

Moyes: **** off soft arse he's gone to leicester, the lad who plays on the right wing

Bill: A winger? are you sure?

Moyes: Aye, he tracks back

Bill: Well, with moses going to chelsea we're flogging vic this week so I reckon I can find the dosh for you davey.

Moyes: Ok, will you give Marwood a ring and see what's what?

Bill: No can do I'm afraid, I'm having tea with Webber at four

Moyes: Lord Lloyd-Webber?

Bill: Haha, no Dave Webber, runs the donut van outside the royal court

Moyes: Ok, shall I ring him

Bill: I wouldn't do that, no one does phone calls in this day and age davey!

Moyes: E-mail him then?

Bill: He won't be able to reply, he's shortsighted

Moyes: Nae bother, I'll fax the ****er

Bill: No can do davey, been a bit of a whoopsie in accounts, just a clerical error mind, the phones were cut off last month. BT reckon they'll have it sorted by the end of august, can it wait til then?

Moyes: FFS, I'll drive up and ask him myself

Bill: Ok, if you need a hand with negotiations give me a call

I was told that we're defo in for him and this is how Moyes ended up at the Etihad. This is vero, heard it from a girl I fingered who works in the ticket office before Hibbo's testimonial. I'd post a picture of her in an everton kit but she's 19 stone and looks like Peter Griffin.

Other mangers went but ignoring that do you think a manager going personally to a going to visit club to negotiate a transfer makes sense ? if people think about it it makes no sense

I'm at Asda in Elgin and just saw a bloke in a Man City shirt and he told me it's happening tomorrow. I told him the chicken he'd picked up for dinner on Sunday was out of date. We thanked each other and went on our way.

I can post pictures of Asda Elgin and an uncooked chicken if this will help substantiate my claims.

Is that bloke for real posting a picture of his son for proof of a rumour !?!

It was to really say, 'look my son is at City, get in their' wasnt it ??? Go on admit it ???

Lads, this is a pub I took a picture of in London, Arsenal play in London, we are defo signing Ramsay on loan

yep, thats why he was waiting in reception..they dont do appointments its a first come first served basis, you have to take a ticket and wait to be called..moyes was ticket number 9, o'neill number 8 and rodgers number 7, moyes got bored of waiting and hadnt even brought a book, so he went for a walk round the arndale centre to do a bit of shopping(bought a book), when he came back he had missed his place! so we arent getting johnson..oh well

That cracked me up.

I do know the real reason why Moyes was at the Etihad. He is currently on a tour of some of the newer stadiums in the league for when the Chinese build us one, he likes to have a big say on the decor, he's very Feng Shui is Moyes.

I'm not claiming to be ITK but I am currently OTB, (On The Bog!)

lol you all wait and see

Mate like I say you might be right but I've learnt the hard way that up until hands are shook and even then probably not until contracts are signed deals collapse. The list of players that clubs , fans and over 3rd party agents that get string along by players is always pretty extensive , in defence of the media that's often the reason they get twirled on stories because most of the time nobody has a f**ken clue what's going on. However let's get to the main point , managers to my knowledge and experience don't go to clubs knock on the door and ask "can I have a word ?"
