He's about twice as good as Niasse, so £26m is about right I think lads.

hahahaha you do realise this deal is not done on this thread right. You keep speaking as if you're the selling party. Maybe we're the only ones interested and we'll talk united down to £20m. we'll just see.

I know mate, some deluded lads on here if they think a player of Mata's quality is only worth £20m, he's only 28, and IMO is top drawer.

We paid £13.5M for Niasse! In the current market, £20M isn't all that and won't buy you much worthy of note. Happily, fans don't have a say in these matters and valuations/bids/transfer fees are a Mata for the clubs

Doesn't seem like there are any credible links (outside of esk) when it comes to Mata coming or going. But if Mourinho was willing to sell him once, you'd think he would be willing to do so again. The fact we aren't seeing him linked with other big clubs gives me optimism that he'll still sign with us.

So you actually think we will sell Mata to a PL club for just £20m rather than keeping him as our backup aye. I don't believe it!
