Looks like it's Mat-ON for now - many reports linking us with him, the Esk included. Hope this isn't another Moutinho or another Yarmolenko rumour.

What a signing he'd be, too. A real statement of intent of our ambition under Moshiri and Koeman, and he also covers an area we are severely lacking in. We've needed a player like Mata for years - he'd offer a blend of experience and world-class quality to the side, easily our best player.

I really hope we manage to pull this off.

Would love this to happen !! Mourinho sold him once so obv doesnt rate him. It would be a massive statement for us to sign a player of his calibre, just depends what ambitions he has as a player.
