Player Valuation: £50m
do you think we will see him in the first team this season?

how excited should we be? has anyone even seen him play?

promising young lad based on footy manager  hehe

bit too young though me thinks for this season

What concerns me is he is a red nose and his family are at least that was what a poster wrote so will he stay??:(

Ive played against him quite a few times .. quality player dont know about the season he might be in and around the squad

I think sadly its not as important anymore, as our former liabalous McDonalds muncher will testify to. The Stubbeys of this world are sadly a dieing breed.

On the positive side though i think our current sqad is a group of good heads for a young player to come into, i can see Jags and Lescott becoming more senior following the departure of Cars and Cahill will asume the senior staesman role.

Moyesy tends to give young players a chance when they hit about 17 if they have the quality i think we may see him sparingly in the latter part of next season.

I think a lot will depend on our situation if we are still in with a chance of of top four I cant see him taking a chance but if we are having a good run in a cup then he might rest a player andgive him a start.

Technically he'd be very comfortable at this level but he's to small and lightweight. He wouldn't be able to cope at the moment. Give him a year or two and I can see him breaking in.

The only ones who are close for me are Rodwell and maybe Golsling. Other than that there isn't much else. Kissock has been mentioned but I have doubts whether he'll ever make it.

what is the problem with Kissock I have not seen him but fans on here seem split half like you Toxteth dont appear to rate him yet others really do .

It frankly pisses me off hearing people talking about players not being big enough to make it. Leo Messi's arguably the best player in the world and I doubt he's much more than 10 stone wet through.

Its the truth though. I have no doubts Baxter will eventually make it but he needs to be given time to develop physically. There's a big difference between him and Messi. Messi is a world class talent whereas Baxter is a talented prospect.

Messi also plays in the wing in a less physical league. Baxter plays upfront and personally I can't see him getting the better of 6ft 3, 14 stone centre halves. Maybe in the future but not at the moment. He's a kid.

michael owen 70 kg (11 stone)

lionel messi 67kg (10.6 stone)

gianfranco zola 67kg (10.6 stone) *during career- might be a fat [Poor language removed] now!

god i'm bored. time for a cuppa.

He just doesn't like comfortable at reserve level. In the youth teams he looked the part but he's hasn't fully adapted to reserve level which is very worrying considering his age. I also think he's one of those players who thinks he's better than he is. It seems to me he thinks he's too good for reserve team football but he's quite frankly not.

Positionially I'm not sure about him aswell. He's not the quickest and isn't a winger in my opinion. Naturally I'd say he's a player who'd be best suited to playing in the hole behind two strikers but its a very hard position to accomadate in English football. The majoirty of teams and especially reserve teams play a basic 4-4-2 and Kissock has to play outwide where his lack of pace and strength are shown up.

I'm not convinced. He hasn't done anything for a while. He's just like a passenger most of the time.

Thaks for that mate(y)

Baxter might not sign for us. He's not a blue and many big clubs are trying to lure him with money we can't provide.
