Not really. The biggest threat to his first team place is a player who plays for Crystal Palace and the other Gk plays for Southampton. Not exactly big clubs or media darlings.

So what ? Why so precious ? Nobody is a shoe in, well unless you're Harry Kane. Look, as much as i like JP, I couldn't care less if he plays for England or not. It would be extremely harsh on him if dropped based on the fact I don't think he's really let England down, buts that's football.

I couldn't care less either. But there's a clear campaign against Pickford and as someone else said Tuchel is just giving them what they want. I'm sure Pickford will be back for the next game. However It's more fuel for the Pickford out brigade.

So tedious and you can almost set your watch by these commentators jipping him.
If he was at Chelsea funnily enough I think nothing would be said.
