Dunno what he was doing for the 1st goal. 3 yards out he gets his footwork all wrong and goes for the ball with his feet. He could have fell on the ball.

Probably thought Branners would cut the ball out and reacted poorly when it beat him. Made some good saves today but was poor dealing with things at other times.

Said same when asked about Ndiaye. He doesnt rate a lot of modern day players it seems.
Only caught 5 mins of it mind.

I saw Southall play. Great. But today, as a pundit, he often spouts rubbish.

You could say internationally Pickford has massively surpassed Southall in his achievements. And has more experience

If anyone is surprised at what Nev is saying you obviously haven’t followed Everton or him for very long. This is a fella who chose to go home and hang out with his dogs after the FA Cup Final win, he really doesn’t care about anything involving a popular opinion.

Wrong. I tick your boxes. I followed Everton for ages. I saw him play, fantastic. But his views on things now often seem attention seeking.

He has kept more clean-sheets for England in major tournaments than any other England goalkeeper in the history of football. He has also saved more penalties than any other England 'keeper. The Banks comparisons are absurd because Jordan is well ahead of the great man.

Under Frank, him and Richy kept us up.

You watch him warm up getting balls banged at him from 10 yards away and catches them .... and then flaps at a gently flighted cross ???

But it did...if he catches it, the pressure is taken off.
