Forget Doucoure, forget Calvert Lewin, Lampard and Dyche. If you are looking for the reason why we are still playing top flight football after the past few seasons, the answer is Jordan Pickford, as mad as a box of frogs, but, worth his weight in gold to us.

Him getting Branthwaite and Mykolenko to guard the ball while he waited to pick it up was pretty funny. Especially against a bunch of whiners like Arsenal.

Neville Southall with 197 is unreal.
I know we didn't win anything in 1988/89 but for anyone wanting to see how world class Southall was, watch the season review on YT and watch some of his performances and saves. In particular Coventry away, Villa away, rs away (save against Barnes and we were robbed as Wayne Clarke scored a legitimate winner crossed off as bloody usual)
Pickford is an outstanding keeper and still miles behind the big man. No shame in that like as 99.9% of keepers I've seen in my lifetime don't come close to Southall.

No doubt somebody might say Buffon or something, but I've generally not seen enough of any keeper who has not played in this country to even begin being able to compare.
