He makes some great saves but I do think his histrionics prevent us playing the ball out from the back.

The time he wastes yelling at our defence/the ref/himself allow the opposition to regroup and get set.

It means we lose the initiative to attack the open space and it is much harder to pass the ball from the defence to the midfield and then the attack.

I keep reading he is a good shot stopper. Been trying g to find the stats on goals conceded. One site says 22 conceded from shots inside the area. Not the stats of a good shot stopper? Anyone good at finding that info?

Try finding out how many one on one saves he makes mate …

You could put prime southall in goal but if he’s playing with Michael Keane in front of him , who is letting his runners have time and space in the box … he would concede goals too

Same as England defeat against Greece, his positioning was awful for the goal, had plenty of time to centre himself and didnt.

He does. Think he was told by Southgate to do the same for England but stopped it when the barrage of complaints from the media came in. Sadly it’s only our own supporters who complain so duchess won’t give a toss.
