Sure he's got a bit of psycho in him, a blunder or two as well but any high profile keeper is faced with that. What you've got to admire is his mental fortitude. He takes an undeserved amount of crap every week but it's like water off a duck's back.
Sure he deserves criticism sometimes but his command of the area, distribution, reflexes and one on one skills are world class. Always doubted him when facing penalties as he has a crap record there but his save against Leicester might well be counted as what kept us up (if we make it).
Gotta add he seems genuinely happy at staying with us and sticking up for Everton. After this season it's hard to see anyone else we've had between the sticks since Southall that are better than him.
