It´s spot on. A classic Jordan Pickford blunder. Tried to make himself big and ended up taking the man out. Why would he deliberately want to nail someone in the box? It makes no sense but this is the agenda that will be pushed.

The problem is he is only shooting himself in the foot so too speak, he undoes all his own work, it is all well and good saying it hasn't cost us, maybe not in goals or points but from a psychological point of view he'll be causing mental panic throughout the defence which is damaging long term.

I am often amazed that nobody in authority, i.e. their employers, appear to call out and correct these so-called football experts or pundits, who by some chance happen to be ex Red players, and constantly use the pronoun "we" when describing the RS. You don't need to be Evertonian to be annoyed by it. Souness was a great player and a dirty player who I would have had in my side anytime. Now he is just a hypocrite.
