They said the other day hes been seeing a therapist for his panic/flapping.. Hes been superb the last 6 months I reckon...

To me this is the best hes looked. When he 1st joined he would make some saves, but I always felt he would concede too. He now looks like he wont concede. I know it's a subtle difference, but it makes a big difference. I'm really pleased for him.

It was superb man management by Ancelloti, and hardly noticed. Gave him a break at just the right time, bigged him up in the media when everyone else was sniping at him. Thats why some people are paid big money to manage. Pickford,DCL ,Davies are all benefits created by Carlo during his tenure. Pity there were a couple even Carlo couldn't help.

I can’t remember the last time I changed my opinion on a player so much. I wanted him out for about 18 months and thought he was our biggest problem and a bit of a tit but now I think he’s one of only about five players I wouldn’t sell and I really like and respect him.

He’s been decent. But he’s also had a good season too.
I just think he was that underrated/heavily criticised on here that it’s taken all this time for the haters to pipe down.
Probably another example of how some fans are quick to write people off.

He was validly criticised as he was making 2 massive errors per game, he has cut that out and looks far more focused now.

Yes but there’s a difference between being criticised and written off. - I always felt that some of it was way over the top and the mistakes were a confidence issue that he’s now overcome.
