It was tidy, nothing more and nothing less. But I cant see us staying this high unless we get a much more stable keeper.

An average keeper saves that no problem, and a good keeper ensures that the ball does not rebound into the danger zone; Pickford did not!

Im not that bothered about being 2nd right now. He's not a keeper long term who will keep you that high in the table.
Nothing personal to him. But if this team and club want to genuinely progress he is not the answer.

Would Olsen have saved that shot at the end though?

Think our problem is Pickford isn't commanding and a flapper but is a decent shot stopper from short range whereas Olsen is commanding but not a great shot stopper (he was bombed out of Roma for being somewhat of a calamity himself).

Why Romero would have been good for us as he is a bit of both - we should go back in for him in January and have a pre contract agreement signed for next summer for a free transfer.

I agree with what you're saying.

Out of our two I prefer Olson just because he is consistent. He's not the answer but IMO he's the answer for right now. I don't think Romero is the answer either, but I think he's closer to the answer than either of our two.

Doubt Man U will sell him to us though... they wouldn't before the season was underway, and we'll still be in the mix come end of Jan.

I don't know who he answer is either.
