I'd hate to be a goalkeeper, a mistake from a goalkeeper is likely to cost a goal, a striker misses 2 chances and the team don't concede, a midfielder misplaces a pass same outcome, a defender makes a mistake he still has the other defenders or goalkeeper to help save him. Who in the right mind would want to be a goalkeeper??? and we wonder why goalkeepers seem to be bonkers...
True. In fact, you could have three outfield players and the goalie all making mistakes that lead to a goal, but more often than not it will be the keeper that is blamed.
