As ive said before, the second the summer window ended i said on this very forum the biggest mistake was not getting a back up keeper, it was essential, if we made one buy in Jan it had to be a decent back up keeper, how anyone cant see this is beyond me, Pickford is the first name on the team sheet because we have no choice

He’s vastly over rated by our fans, the media and other fans.
I’m not sure he’s anything like a 30-40M goalkeeper. He may improve with age but like someone like Shay Given, he’ll never be top bracket because he doesn’t have the physical attributes and size of most top keepers.
If we could get 40M for him in the summer then I would and put that money towards squad building. Get a steady Eddie in goal for a few seasons before for look for a long term replacement

Have been saying he needs to start coming off his line, after today I take that back, first time I've seen him come off his line to catch a ball, and he dropped it.
State of that effort to catch that earlier. Any wonder he usually bottles coming off his line.
