He's having the worst season of any goalkeeper we've had during my lifetime.

It's not good enough and he should be dropped.

I didn't say he's the worst goalkeeper. He's probably second only to Martyn. But he's definitely having an utter stinker. I can't think of as many gaffes this bad before. Not even from Howard in his latter days.

If we had a manager who is capable of getting results Pickfords clangers would be similiar to werld class Alisons who gets away with them as they dont affect the result.

Unfortunately as Tim Howard found out when your managed by a bloke who cant or doesnt defend you need to be at your best every game or you'll be branded gash.

Pickford has been poor no doubt, but had Utd beaten Liverpool or Leicester had scored a late equaliser Alison would have been slammed in the media.

Obviously the derby one hurt most and I've still not forgiven him for it, but in reality we shouldn't be acting like Pickford and a lack of a striker is the reason we are 11th.

Watford for example have no striker and a gash GK yet are above us.

All about the quality of a sides tactics and system and we are badly lacking in that.

Neither of those are close to Anfield levels of calamity, nor do I remember Howard coming out and tackling his own defenders.

Pickford actually did something similar in the Watford game where he ran out the box and cleared it off Keane. Luckily he got away with it that time. I literally have no idea what is going on with him.
