Defo better than Alisson though who mysteriously is a bdo candidate. Pickford immense pin point distribution led to Morgan's first yellow which eventually led to a game changing moment.

Some posters calling him out as awful but then saying we should have taken 60 Mill for him from Chelsea. If true, why would they be bidding that of he’s rubbish? Why would he have been ahead of Kepa on their list?
Personally I think he’s in poor form at the moment but in terms of ability is easily one of the better keepers in the league. His distribution is great and he has a presence at the back. The decision making and one on one saves are starting to come back now as well.
He’s criticised far too much. Alisson looked as though he struggled to keep the ball moving on a Sunday in relation to Ederson yet is lauded for his distribution. Pickford was picking out Richarlison multiple times with pinpoint passes and gets called rubbish. There’s no consistency.

This thread is turning into a wind up. The expectations of some Evertonians is so unrealistically high and that is why they turn into moaners and slate good players. We are Everton of the 21st century not Everton of the 80's. May hurt but we are currently a run of the mill club so don't chase our better players away.
