Human nature? It's very rare to see a debate where one party admits the other has convinced him to think differently. Also little things in the real world confirm this nature in people time & time again: on a train platform, random lady overhears me asking my partner how long the pending train journey will take:
"10 minutes it is!" says the random.
"Ok thanks" say I somewhat sceptical. I check on my phone and it's actually 27 minutes, so tell the random just for her info. She swiftly responds:
"Exactly, 10 or 20 minutes, that's what I said!".
Bloody humans.
