ok to last 2 posts - so he needs to be a good tactical defender - good positioning and anticipation. a big ask but we can hope for the best!

I can officially state that carlo will be saying no.
That may depend on how much money we have. Given that our wages are 85% of our income, that leaves us with approximately £28m to cover all other outgoings, including previous transfer payments. I know we a sponsorship, but money may be limited.
We may decide to keep him.

Whether he wants to stay as understudy to Seamus may then be the salient point.
He could be playing first team football for Schalke.
I still don’t rate him as good enough to displace Coleman.

I think if CA wants to continue with the tactic of one of his full backs tucking in and making a 3rd centre back Kenny might actually be quite useful. He played centre back as a youth player so understands the role. Kennys biggest problem is he doesn't quite have the pace to be a modern full back and not physical enough to be a centre back in a 2 but this half and half role may suit him.

Would be more than happy to ditch him if a decent offer comes in but think he'd also do a fine job as an understudy next season if kept. Hopefully the Schalke loan may have sparked some interest in him, because I don't think he's going to drastically improve his game. Nice lad and all that though.
