He is a bad ref...but we need to do more in games instead of relying on a fume post game.
I agree. We had our chances and didn't take them.

When the boss of the premier league comes out and says Manchester United being poor is bad for the brand of the premier league you something isn't right. Add up all the decisions that seem to go for them and the fact that they are one of the few clubs who voted against and still don't want VAR, it starts to smell even more.
This in lies the problem. I've not watched SSN today but don't suppose it's even been mentioned yet remember the decision that went against the RS and it was on for at least 3 days after. Everyone laughs it off if it's us, the ref would be punished if he give it against a sky darling so they are much less likely to be fair.
It is, and this year he said he hopes someone else wins the title other than City. Of course City being the best team in Manchester is bad for Utd and according to him if it's bad for Utd it's bad for the league.https://www.telegraph.co.uk/sport/f...he-Premier-League-says-Richard-Scudamore.html
Is that what you are refering to mate?
not just us mate, Leicester got absolutely done to bits last week at Arsenal, blatand 100% hand ball in the box by Holden (also on a yellow), nothinggiven, all this was while Leicester were 1 up.
Not a dicky bird about it at full time as Arsenal had came back to win 3-1.
But if the shoe was on the other foot, wether it be Arsenal, Chelsea, Utd, Liverpool or City, it would be a 3 day witch hunt against who ever gave the decision!
It appears to be the likes of us, Leicester, West Ham (those clubs that are pretty established, big clubs but not in the above bracket seem to be the biggest victims of it!
Not a coincidence the only 2 players been done for restrospective bans are from West Ham & Everton
When VAR wasn't brought in at the start of the season, I questioned the honesty of the Premier League. Italy has always been considered 'a bit dodgy', but they were prepared to use VAR. The only reason not to introduce it was to allow refs to favour certain teams. Is this because of the PL, or the sponsors. Either way, we know the league is not genuine.
Martial should at least get a retrospective ban and we should push for itA lot of "I can see why he's given it" shouts because seeing the Gueye got the ball was tough but what was not tough was to see that Martial took another step after the contact and launched himself in the air. It was clearly an over the top dive and Moss fell for that part anyway.
Why will VAR take so long to come to the prem ? why will tthe sky 6 continue to get every call their way ? the refs plus every other fat cat on the Premiere league/sky /BT contracts will continue to make sure thier pockets are lined. Just imagine a top 6 containing ourselves .watford, bournemouth etc, the next sky contract would be a quater of what it is currently due to overseas rights. When this all comes out one day it will rival the Fifa scandel.
