Gary Speed after making his move to Newcastle was quoted as saying "Its great to move to a Club like Newcastle, in terms of size its massive compared to Everton."

Well they are a big club in terms of size, not in success. But at the time they were competing at a higher level than us weren't they? They were able to attract better players. That's down to the [Poor language removed] house chairman at the time.

The way I hear it from the horses mouth was that it wasn't something he was keen to do as being an Evertonian it was great to play for Everton, but the club wasn't going in the right direction at the time. Nobody can debate that.

Don't fall for the media mate, your better than that.

I also remember everyone kicking off at Ferguson for ******* off until his Dad stormed into the Wilmslow to say that his lad was in tears.

Id agree with that mate, Speed was shanghied, but that was at a different point in out history. In no way do i think Lescott was forced out, he saw thw wonga and said ill have some of that. Im not just saying that because he left us, i think we still have a couple of snides playing for us in The Yak and Heitinga, doesnt make them bad players but if they got a sniff of a better deal they would be gone.

It will happen in the professional game. It is the style Lescott and Rooney left in makes me think they are bad bad snides given the contribution we made to their careers. A week to go before the end of the transfer window and agitating for a move is something we didnt deserve with either them. We gave them the chance and foundation to be able to earn hundreads of thousands.

The Lescott commnet makes me laugh, given the fact one of his last games for Everton was an FA Cup final.

Fair comments, but we also conveniently ignore the roles of the agents in this little soap opera. Like it or not, they run football, and it's not just Everton that they screw over as this week's events have proven.

Right I'm going to say this once. I'm a football fan. I look at facts. I don't defend anyone just because they are Everton. I defend them if I think they haven't done something wrong, or attack them if I think they have done something wrong.

Joleon Lescott is without doubt a tit, that is not a question that I have to ask myself often. He is who he is, and he behaved like a muppet. However, that particular comment he said is spot on.

Everton don't have experience of winning stuff.

By jumping all over people just because they have either disappointed or play for a rival is just the kind of weaponry you can expect from Kopites and City fans.

Make sense? Or should we **** people off regardless of what they say?

This has been disproved mate.

No doubt agents are agitators, but if this week has proven anything to me the choice is always with the player, seemed as if Stretford was calling the shots untill Thurs, untill Rooney realised what a queg his agent was making him look followed swiftly by a lynch party outside his house. Cue Stretford getting a swift one up the backside and a reverseing of the digger not seen since we had peace in our time!

I wonder why you support us mate, since you clearly don't like Evertonians or scousers in general.

Well I'm a human being first mate. You can't give me hassle for being all tribal against people from other clubs who come on here, and then expect me to defend Everton regardless of any facts at all.

We act all righteous on this forum like we are of a higher state than any other fan. You yourself have been calling Pompey fans proper bells. But if you were a Pompey fan you would be calling Evertonians proper bells.

I get the tribal thing I do, but you can't have it both ways.

Thanks for the thesis mate, but you didn't really answer my question.

Ok, well I love Everton, have done for as long as I have loved football. I like some Evertonians. I think many of them are deluded and miserable, and feel the need to blame many external factors for the reason why they are not top of the league.

I like some scousers, obviously not Kopites, as they too are delusional bells who still believe the bootroom team spirit is how you win titles.

Answer your question?

Didn't you just put chico on ignore? Didn't you just unnecessarily create a thread telling us that you put Chico on ignore? Why is he not on ignore anymore? Seems like you can't get enough of him to me, ghost. Seems like you have an addiction.
