“I don’t want to disrespect anyone at Everton – they have a great squad, but they were probably just a bit short of experience in winning trophies." - Sunday People

When is the last time City one a trophy?

And a bit short from actually playing regularly too, eh Joe?

Strange that Lescott actually said something sensible and true, and instantly he's a bell+1.

The Everton side is short of experience in winning trophies.

Like it has been said....and city have? They can say the players they brought in are experienced with other teams.
But just take a look at Howard,Saha, Neville and Felli :/

And you really wonder why people jump all over your comments?

Right I'm going to say this once. I'm a football fan. I look at facts. I don't defend anyone just because they are Everton. I defend them if I think they haven't done something wrong, or attack them if I think they have done something wrong.

Joleon Lescott is without doubt a tit, that is not a question that I have to ask myself often. He is who he is, and he behaved like a muppet. However, that particular comment he said is spot on.

Everton don't have experience of winning stuff.

By jumping all over people just because they have either disappointed or play for a rival is just the kind of weaponry you can expect from Kopites and City fans.

Make sense? Or should we **** people off regardless of what they say?

Howard has won a couple of cups, and Neville won some trophies, but not really as a regular player. More a squad player. I can see what Lescott is saying.

And City, do City have experience of winning trophies?

He is belittling Everton but you won't still won't get it even if probably not one person on here agrees with you mate.

He's stated a fact though mate. I'm not saying he's not a prick, he is. However, on the same token he hasn't really got a squad in city that are winners, yet. However, he's clearly talking about the likes of Silva (WC winner), Toure from Barca, Mancini with Inter.
