I feel dirty saying this but he's not wrong. Nevile aside, none of our squad have really won much of anything and our manager certainly hasn't. Where as the likes of Mancini, Toure, Silva ect all have.

Right now you have to say that they look a better side then we do.

Lescott has said something that is bloody obvious. With that kind of money City are going to sign players who have won trophies, they have the money. The fact they hadn't when he was signed doesn't mean they weren't going to.

He has moved for the money that is not in dispute, but he is moving to a side that will win more trophies than us, not all footballers are uber loyal, they want to better themselves, otherwise Cahill would have stayed at Millwall.

If you got offered 4 or 5 times more money to work somewhere else, in plusher surroundings, with better skilled work colleagues, more potential for rewards and so on. Would you?

Well we don't know what he was promised do we? But fairly safe to assume that an owner with too much money is going to yield more quality than an owner with no money.
