I really can't believe there has been 45 pages of conversation with regards to the sale of Lescott and whether he really wants to stay or go himself.

MADNESS!!!!!!

The papers have once again done what they do best stirr the pot with rumours.

Although i will say i despise that Mark Hughes he has been known in the past for telling people who he wants to sign.

Nevertheless find something else to talk about really 45 pages

You should see the Moutiniho thread 200+ pages.....(y)

You might be right, mate.

But as far as Moutinho goes, he also plays right-sided midfield. Whether he would be effective there for is a question I can't answer.

He wouldnt be AS effective put it that way. He dropped to the right for Sporting the end of the season. He wasnt really the same player. He is a box to box player, I would compare him to stevieGlaaar, before Rafael started playing him left wing and then in the hole.

He is basically a playmaker, but he always likes to drive with the ball. It becomes less effective when he bursts down the wing rather than thru the centre.

Switch Arteta to the right, then.

How else are you going to accommodate Moutinho? You're the one that keeps banging on about him.

Forget Lescott for a second, and just tell me where Moutinho should play? Or are you saying we shouldn't sign him now?

Forget Lescott? We're in his pigging thread :D

Just for a second, mate. I'm just trying to make sense of Goat's position, which seems logically all over the place. He's basically said we shouldn't get rid of Joleon for Moutinho because Moutinho couldn't be accommodated easily. But then in the Moutinho thread he bangs on about signing Moutinho.

He's worth banging on about. I would drop Arteta for him. In a flash.

For me. It pains me to say this, but we dont NEED Moutinho. We NEED him while Arteta is injured and we NEED him because hes better than frigging Osman on the right. If Arteta was to get injured he would be a direct replacement, the side wouldnt suffer.

But we already have a wealth of CMs. The problem is, Fellaini was bought as a CM. He wasnt meant to be Cahill mk2, so now we have the problem of finding a way of playing with Fellaini, our record buy and Cahill, our hero.

8 into 5 doesnt go.

Shows your football knowledge (y)

To quote whoever it was that said it, Arteta is a big boy in a big league, The Mout is a big boy in a small league, he needs to impress at a higher level to be seen as better than Arteta, at this moment in time I don't think he is, and before you say owt yes I have watched him play, plenty of times

So basically, FELLAINI is the one to make room for others. Well a couple of rumours doing the rounds, place Fellaini at Arsenal or United. Far fetched, I know.
