So basically, FELLAINI is the one to make room for others. Well a couple of rumours doing the rounds, place Fellaini at Arsenal or United. Far fetched, I know.

If you offered me a swop for Moutinho or Fellaini, I would bite your hand off. Not because I dont rate the big man, but because he isnt what we need, not while we have Cahill.

Hopefully next season he will prove me wrong, but in any case I wouldnt like to see him play in the premiership, the lad is going to be special and for a team without a Cahill he would become invalueable. Sadly we dont need him, because we have Skippy.

So we recoup the £15m on Fellaini, and spend it on Moutinho.

Assuming that was possible, I'd go along with that. Like you say, there is a headache as regards to accommodating the big Fell at the moment. But then watch Cahill do his foot again next season.

Thats the gamble. But its pie in the sky, we aint selling Fellaini. As I say the boy will become quite special, he just needs to learn how his body moves.

Well, I kinda found that out when I was about 3 years old. Fellaini is clearly a late developer.

I agree lid, he will turn into something special.

Maybe we bite the bullet on Cahill ...

<ok, maybe not just yet>

Screech, are you on this forum solely to disagree with everything I say?

Ronaldo was once a big player in a small League...The same league if I remember correctly.

No, I just often think you're wrong.

I know he was, but when he was at Sporting he wasn't better than most players. I'm not saying he won't be better than Mikel, he's just not at the moment

Fair enough then.

Fellaini is only 21, you all seem keen on "giving him a few years". I think Moutinho could easily replace Mikel, TOMORROW, or when he's fit anyway.....give him this few years though, he'd be the best player in our team by a mile.

Can't argue with that, he's a fantastic prospect, will be at a top team within a year, hopefully that top club will be us. Fellaini is fantastic now as well though

True, but just because one player manage the transition, doesn't mean another will do the same.

I think Fellaini will turn out great, now that he has learned to limit his yellow-card collection.

Back to topic a bit..

saw some rumours that ManC is going for another CD, if that's true.. then this whole thread is moot. :D

True, but he was writing him off from being a good player in the League. I was merely pointing out that the transition from Portugal to England has been made successfully.... I wasn't saying "just because he done it he will".

No I wasn't, it's just easier to look top class in a lesser league, until he proves himself in a league as strong as the Premier League I'll remain wary on quite how good he is.

Now can we get back to the non story of Lescott to City?

Whatever lid

If a bid comes in of £20, id want us to accept it, and then go out and buy Hangeland.

That's all im saying on it. Unless someone brings up a good discussion point :)
