NO WORD OF A LIE.

Just been on my driving lesson then, drove down County Road, and seen Lescott - getting in to a car with Hughes.

Ok, maybe I lied a little

I was JOKING. Garrrrrd.

Belter you lid...

Anyway - remember Stevie GBH handing his transfer request in after winning the Champs League?

Transfer saga sent Gerrard to brink | Mail Online

Angry at perceived indifference by Liverpool over a new contract, in the wake of their Champions League triumph over AC Milan,

Gerrard tried to force their hand by submitting a transfer request.
What followed caused such distress, he ended up making panic calls for help to his father and brother, his agent Struan Marshall and even Liverpool's club doctor, Mark Waller.

"Madness broke out," he said. "I was sitting dazed at home, watching the TV, and when I saw fans burning an old No 17 shirt by the Shankly Gates, it did my head in. Show some respect. Don't you know how this is tearing me apart?

"Dad begged me not to go, but I replied, 'look at the TV, fans are burning my shirt, the club aren't stopping them, Liverpool don't want me any more'.

Now, we're not pre-maddona's like the RS fans are we? All Im saying is that Lescott could change his mind is all, and want to stay because we're not going as far as those shower over the road are in putting on a light and fire show wanting him out.

is pleased at least. One thing is for sure, I now know that I was never held in high regard!

The question is, held in high regard by who?

He must be thick as [Poor language removed] if he thinks he isnt held in high regard by this club.

Surely he must be talking about city, after all, they did go after Terry first, is it finally dead in the water? I personally think he will stay. For now.

If it is him, maybe hes got wind of the anti-Lescott swing on the forums, if he really is stupid enough to think he wouldnt get an over-reaction with a transfer request in the week the season starts, well, God help him.

Hopefully he has read all the postive things said about him before that.

It's not him. Don't you think a big deal would've been made of all these comments if it was?? See Darren Bent.
