But two and two together....

Hughes has said they're still talking to the people at Everton....we've had previous pages saying that he's talking to the board, which they're going to do...

They wont go over Moyes's head. Su-i-cide if they didn.

And this -

City have brought in negotiators Kia Joorabchian and Pini Zahavi in an attempt to wield their influence on Toffees chairman Bill Kenwright and Everton's other financial ruler, American-based Robert Earl.

Two of the biggest ****s ruining the game. We've already had run ins with Joorabchian over Manny Fernandes. He's a snake!

Hope Kenwright tells him to **** off....Or at least say £30mill or **** off!

Exactly.

But if I ever saw that Kia Joorabchian I'd smack him in his mooth.

i hate that smarmy sod myself mate and its always been clear from the moment he came into football with tevez and the lad across the park from you all he was in it for was to make as much money as he could.

im glad the fa have banned such things as people owning players now because it would have got more popular with slime balls in south america and then bringing them over to these shores.

He's horrible. Every player he "owns" all move for ridiculous fees so he can make more money.

Not pulling your lot again...but Jo was rated around £8mill when we were interested in him...went for £18million. Tevez...free agent apparantly - £25million (or whatever, where did that go?). Manny Fernandes, all set to sign for us at £6mill, he pulled the plug last minute because Valencia offered £12million.

He's a monster.

Happens with clubs as well.

Sheff Utd done it with Naughton.

to be fair to jo he wasnt played well at city and never was given a chance, when hughes played him it was bit parts and played him wide instead of down the middle and i have said this god knows how many times on our forums and hughes made a big mistake in not playing him.

he seems a lot happier at everton and i watched some of the games he was playing for you last season and he was the type of player we was crying out for.

whats the everton point of view on jo ?

Geez, I read through another 300 posts and I'm still seeing some of the same shocking drivel.

Some of you need to get it through your THICK SKULLS that there's somehow this idea that everyone in the world BUT footballers are allowed to try to get a higher wage. You need a reality check and quick.

It isn't about how many cars they can have or how many homes they can have. It's about getting the most that they reasonably can while having a limited career life.

I mean I just made a job change for a higher wage (plus bonus) and no one called me out for being disloyal or greedy. No one told me that I owed it to my old employer to stay because "they made me the employee that I am." No one threatened to come boo me at my new office and hang signs up saying "TX Bill = Judas."

Yeah, I'd love to see Lescott stay with Everton and be "loyal" to us. Same with all of our other players. By the way, how do we bring in new players if we expect them to be "loyal" to their current club?

Hey, I don't like it anymore than you do and frankly, I'm glad that Moyes is sticking to his guns with the whole Lescott saga but the next person that forgets we live in a society where we are entitled to have the ability to increase our standard of living, no matter where we are on the scale, I'm gonna have a go at them.

Most people were happy with Jo's contribution last year and with all of our strikers hurt, he gave us really our only option up front. We're looking foward to seeing what he can do for a full season. I think he also fits in to our team well and has bought into the Moyes/Everton ethic.
