Moyes said: "He's probably not for just now, but he may well be because we've a couple of full backs injured just now, there's signs he could develop into a centre half and because of that we felt it was worth bringing him in.

From what Moyes has said, we're looking to turn him into a centre half. With both full backs injured he "might" be for now. Lets see come sunday

Would only loan him when Hibbo is back and when Coleman is fully fit. Loaning him out now would be a bad idea, I cannot cope with Jags at RB any longer.

Hahaha typical Moyes.

Following in the long line of out of position players who before coming under his tutelage had never graced the pitch is such a manner, including right wing Rodwell, left wing Barkley and right wing Drenthe amongst others.

Brought in as a replacement for fellow French forward Nicolas Anelka, Henry was immediately moulded into a striker by Wenger, a move that would pay rich dividends in years to come.

May as well have burnt the money. 6 million for a teenager?

It was 3m mate.

But yeah, who buys 18 Year olds.

Rooney signing for them at the end of the month after a £25.6 million deal with Everton was reached.[61] It was the highest fee ever paid for a player under 20 years old; Rooney was still only 18 when he left Everton.

You made the mistake of taking me seriously.

Drenthe had played on the right wing before, and he was actually better there.

He was playing every game for Barnsley. I know its one level down but its not like he has been plucked straight from Hackney Marshes. Its not like he is too young body wise or anything either hes a big lad.

Id like to see him getting some game time from now to the end of the season even if its just a couple of minutes here and there.
