Seeing as how you mentioned Geri , we had him Stones Barkley and Lukaku at one point.
We were going to build a side around these 4
One at Watford , one on the bench at Chelsea , one on the bench at city and one scoring at United.
It’s funny how players fortunes change.
I wonder if all 3 ( Lukaku excepted ) regret leaving.

I would jump for any of the teams they transferred to if I was a professional footballer and backed myself to be amongst the best. City, United, Barcelona and Chelsea at this moment in time are destinations for the elite players so I'd probably regret not going if I had stayed.

Apart from Lukaku though, I would be surprised if they thought that it had been successful on a personal level with regards to themselves as players.
