Joel Robles

I

I didn't say list the games, I said find the points. You're completely exaggerating which is always the problem when discussing Howard with a select few here. Some of those games you list we won...Also, we were 11 games into the season before we'd given up 15 league goals. You're honestly going to over exaggerate that much to say that with Joel in nets we would have given up 2 goals in our first 11 games? 2 goals? If you'd like to be objective and say Howard is crap, I'm on board. Howard is crap. But the blatant overstating of his impact on a team that's looked completely inadequate time and again when not attacking is ludacris.
No he is not!

There's a very good argument to be had that American players have only made English teams worse.

Even Donovan the tefal fodded virgin.

Ok now you're being a tit! ;) Dempsey and McBride for Fulham surely. We don't have a great track record but Donovan as much as I don't like him I think our play improved with him in the lineup. Freidel was very good for a long time. Even Guzan and Howard were decent before they turned crap.

Give Joel the rest of the season and then decide if we need to spend on another. My guess is that we could save a packet and spend elsewhere... Yarmolenko in for example.

Yeah just get a journeyman to sit on bench if Robles proves good enough. Deserves the chance to find out in the remaining games this season at least.

Think Howard and Roberto know that Tim wont be here next Season so it makes perfect sense to leave Joel in until the end of the Season.

That way he gets a good run and we can see whether he can be the Everton Number 1 or tell us whether we need to go out and buy a Number One in the Summer.

Love how whenever one of our defenders does something good Robles runs at them as if he's on a murder spree then pats them on the back.

I imagine as a defender it'd be motivating and terrifying in equal measure.

Improvement on the other biff who sits on his line.
