That says everything about him. I can remember Southall missing the ball when punching on the odd occasion but at least he hit the man instead (was it Kerry Dixon he laid out for about ten minutes?).

Dempsey and McBride for Fulham surely. We don't have a great track record but Donovan as much as I don't like him I think our play improved with him in the lineup. Freidel was very good for a long time. Even Guzan and Howard were decent before they turned crap.

To be fair Joel has also improved since then, his distribution is miles better and he seems more confident in coming off his line and bossing the defenders.

Give Joel the rest of the season and then decide if we need to spend on another. My guess is that we could save a packet and spend elsewhere... Yarmolenko in for example.

Yeah just get a journeyman to sit on bench if Robles proves good enough. Deserves the chance to find out in the remaining games this season at least.

Think Howard and Roberto know that Tim wont be here next Season so it makes perfect sense to leave Joel in until the end of the Season.

That way he gets a good run and we can see whether he can be the Everton Number 1 or tell us whether we need to go out and buy a Number One in the Summer.

Love how whenever one of our defenders does something good Robles runs at them as if he's on a murder spree then pats them on the back.

I imagine as a defender it'd be motivating and terrifying in equal measure.
