Bobby's only picking Tim because they are both really Lizards from a dimension at a slightly different frequency to ours who are feeding off Goodison's hate and fear?

2 games 2 wins, 1 goal conceded, I'm not sure if he'll become our first team goalie long term but I think he deserves his chance now and if he doesn't make any mistakes himself he should stay in the team for now at least and see what's what.

For me Howard being part of the old guard makes it difficult for the manager to drop. Howards ego comes across as arrogant in his interviews and I wouldn't be suprised to see him hold alot of influence in the dressing room alongside the other members of the clique which Martinez fears to take on. (Osman and Hibbert have been known to have large influence off the field) alongside Jags and Barry who have all been undroppable even when playing awful football at times.

That definitely explains why Mirallas, Osman, and Naismith keep getting jammed into the starting eleven. Clearly Martinez is deathly afraid to blood younger players.

Look if the fans are getting at howard as reported it up to the manager to act on it the fans pay part of his massive salary so he should see, and listen to the reaction on Tim Howard as he is not good enough end of!
The other Keeper comes in does well = dropped it will cost RM his job ok?

Look if Tims having a bad time with his own fans in the ground barracking booing him , and he is reacting too it by all accounts it's good management to take the pressure off him if Robles continues to play well!
That'd not the fans choosing the team its they who pay letting the Manager they are not happy with his goalkeeping performances of late!

that's what i'd want him to do. but martinez, and many other managers have their league keeper and their cup keeper. If robles becomes the league keeper that means howard becomes the cup keeper?

i honestly think martines would stick with robles for the rest of the league cup even if he became the league keeper to be honest.
