As he was walking towards the Park End before the second half started he was clapping and waving, which, whether it's home or away, he never does. I think he did the same going towards the Gwladys in the first half too.
At the end of the game he went down on his knees and kissed the turf and, in the players lap of appreciation he was one of the most outgoing of the players, again clapping and waving.
I reckon he knew it was his last day at Goodison and he wanted to make the most of it. I guess it's possible he was made up at being told by Ronko that he was going to be first choice next season, but that seems unlikely.
He had a decent game yesterday, and he may well turn into a top class goalkeeper, but he isn't one at the moment, and I doubt Ronko is willing to let him learn on the job if there's someone better available now. That's OK for some outfield players, but the keeper's position is too important for that if we want to progress from 7th spot.
