it did look comical, but the ball was smashed at his feet whilst he was running back. literally nothing he could have done, it was actually a really poor finish from martial, very lucky.

His positioning for the goal is absolutely horrific. Anticipates and takes a step towards the ball for an unknown reason which is why he can't take advantage of the poor Martial finish. He's done okay coming in as an understudy but there's no way you could have European aspirations and have him as your number one goalkeeper.
