Is it me or has he bulked up a bit? Seems a bit more imposing rather than lanky in the goal.

But that could be because I am more confident in him now or he might just have his thermals on!
He looks bigger because of his confidence he stands differently and will go at everything now when he was nervous he was hunched over and made himself small

....I've said from the start he's physically perfect for the position but he's been lacking. To be fair, just like an outfield player confidence and regular game time must make a difference.

There might be a gaff or two to come but it could be worth sticking with him.

At least with a young player (for a GK) you can deal with a few gaffs as it is all part of the process of developing a player.

He is more confident with catching crosses into our box, throws the ball to launch counter attack whenever possible. These two quality is lacking in howard game.

I certainly hope you're right, but I think we'll only find out a week day. Sharp just mentioned on Radio City that he may be back for the derby.

I can't see it.

Even if he dies intend re-instating Tim as custodian, it would be madness fetching him back in the pressure cauldron that will be Goodison this time next week.

The pressure on him if he replaces a guy who has stepped up in a big way would be intolerable given the form he has been in all season.

I entirely agree with what you're saying, I truly do. Robles is full of confidence and has created a sound partnership with those in front of him.

However, what is rational and correct doesn't always work out, especially with regards to Everton.

I hope I am wrong, but I have gut feeling he'll play. Maybe as he has experience of playing in a derby.
