Only slight complaint was the time Stones gave him a roasting for not coming out other than that he was great. Says a lot you are being picky about him not coming out once in a tight situation.

As a few of us said, have to judge him after a run of games and guess what hes starting to look alright.

Hes starting to look a lot more confident and has started shouting out orders

As I've said countless times we're too quick to judge. Keepers especially need a sustained run of games to be judged -- they're not impact players.

However let's not get carried away either. He was solid today which is an improvement and hopefully he can build on that.

To be fair he's not had many shots to save at times,2 on target today for city etc,stones had to have a go at him after stones left the ball for keeper to slide out for,thought probably to far out to slide,looking more confident i think,still not convinced at all though,but give it time who knows

If he keeps developing like this, I'm more than prepared to give him a chance. As a goalkeeper he certainly has time on his side.

ah look at everyone else starting to turn a bit of an opinion after giving the lad a tiny bit of a chance. i'd much prefer him to start over howard, but he had jack sh*t to do today.

i'm just happy i've watched a full 90 mins where an everton keeper hasn't sliced a routine pass back out for a throw-in, it's been a while

Decent again today, his kicking was good, ok city were crap at shooting but still he did he job well.

I will go further than that.

He gave me more confidence today than Howard did in any game this season.

If he keeps improving the way he has over the last couple games, Howard doesn't walk straight back in the team for me.
