Was saying that to one of my students yesterday. He's well up on his footie and agreed. He did say that from an onfield point of view we'd be better off going after Leno (and Lacazette)

Leno is very very good but just as liable to a mistake as Hart, IMO. However, he is 5 years younger.

Lacazette is class but wants CL football. IF Rom went I'd imagine we'd throw a lot of money going for him though - but Lyon really don't want to sell.

Hart is a sham! His cockiness has been all over the media for years. Swerve

He's miles better than any keeper we've had for a decade.

He's supposedly quite arrogant but also a complete professional who strives for the best - and isn't happy when others don't too.

That can only be a good thing.

You need arrogance sometimes if you're going to get to the top.

Being so publicly dropped by Pep and seemingly thrown into the wilderness may help subdue that cockiness and help him find form again.

I'd be happy if Everton did take him for his Citeh exile for as I've said before, he may not be a top keeper but he's better than our current options.

Hart makes mistakes most games I watch him play so he doesn't exactly fill me with confidence. But if his character can push us forward then so be it, I'm just not keen personally

there's an almost unbearable pathos to the Gillette Soccer Saturday's advert sponsored by Gillette with Joe laughing uproariously every ten minutes.

That's perfectly fine and I think people are right to have some doubts, especially when you consider the possible cost of a permanent deal.

Yet as I've said it before I see it quite simply: would I prefer him over the status quo of Robes and Stekelenburg? Yes as he'd improve our squad.

Would I prefer another option from Europe as others have stated? Yes, but that seems unlikely so let's revert back to the question above.

People are right to express concerns and wish there were other options, although right not Hart seems the only really viable option on the cards.

One aspect in all of this I don't quite twig is that Man City aren't going for broke in signing the best new no.1 keeper they can. Bravo is on the Barca bench is he not? (stand to be corrected). Looks like City aren't completely sure what it is they want to happen?

Think Barca weren't prepared to sell the other keeper.

I get that, by why go for a club's no.2 keeper to become your no.1 keeper. With City's wealth, they could make an offer for just about anyone they wanted. Unless of course, Pep really rates him highly, which I suppose he must do.

Bravo is Barca's first choice keeper for domestic fixtures mate. Ter-Stegen in the CL.
