*daily "I'd take him" post.....
I think I would now. As usual, the weight of GOT opinion has made me question my thoughts on him.

Maybe he's not the worst keeper ever to drag himself between the sticks, after all.

But to be honest, I'm mostly hoping he'd be a catalyst. We need to demonstrate that we mean business, and signing someone of his stature would do that.

Like Robinho lead to other big names looking at City, he might do the same for us, if on a slightly smaller scale. His actual contribution to actual football, in that case, wouldn't be too important.

A few months ago, I had hoped it might be Rooney who did that. But maybe Hart could give us a jolt in the right direction.

Was saying that to one of my students yesterday. He's well up on his footie and agreed. He did say that from an onfield point of view we'd be better off going after Leno (and Lacazette)

I think looking at the latest that Pep is playing a deep game. Said Hart could go if he wanted to but if he stayed Pep would make him a better keeper. But then why is there still firm interest in Bravo? Seems to be a contradiction here so is Pep just covering his back if Bravo is not signed?

The guy I spoke to reckons Pep isn't keen on Hart's attitude. A bit cocky apparently.

Ballague saying Bravo will move after playing tonight so can see this one being resolved one way or another in the next few days.

One aspect in all of this I don't quite twig is that Man City aren't going for broke in signing the best new no.1 keeper they can. Bravo is on the Barca bench is he not? (stand to be corrected). Looks like City aren't completely sure what it is they want to happen?
